The Gospel Beyond Closed Doors: Over a Thousand New Programs

Reaching Homes Across the Middle East with the Gospel

Somewhere in a home in the Middle East, Asia, or Africa, someone may be searching for answers to questions they do not dare ask aloud. A television screen or a phone may be the only safe way for them to hear about Jesus. This is why GCMM’s Middle East ministry is preparing to produce more than a thousand new teaching and evangelistic television programs.

Behind every satellite dish is a home, and in every home are people carrying their own questions, fears, and longings. Someone may turn on the television only after everyone else has gone to sleep. Another may quietly search their phone for answers to spiritual questions they cannot share with family or those closest to them.

Then, on the screen, in their own language, they encounter a message of hope—a program that speaks of a loving God, His forgiveness, and the new life found in Jesus. A single program may become the first step on a journey of faith. And sometimes, it can change a life forever.

Over a Thousand Opportunities to Share Hope

GCMM’s ministry in the Middle East is preparing to produce more than a thousand new Christian teaching and evangelistic television programs. It is an ambitious goal, but the opportunity is even greater. Produced in the languages people know and understand, these programs communicate the message of the Bible in ways that are clear, relevant, and faithful to the Gospel. Ultimately, this is about far more than producing a thousand programs—it is about creating a thousand opportunities to reach people with the hope of Jesus, right where they are.

The potential impact can already be seen. In 2025 alone, GCMM produced approximately one thousand programs in Arabic, Farsi, Tajik, and North African languages. Broadcast through 16 satellite channels, these programs reached across the Middle East, the Persian Gulf, Africa, Asia, Indonesia, and Europe, with a potential audience of approximately 1.3 billion people.

But the numbers tell only part of the story. Each month, the broadcasts generated as many as 150,000 responses and messages. Behind every response was a person—someone with a question, someone looking for answers, someone wanting to begin a conversation, or someone simply asking for prayer. This is where the true impact of every program begins.

Sharing the Gospel Through Digital Screens

Alongside television, social media has opened entirely new doors for sharing the Gospel. Younger generations, in particular, spend much of their time online, creating opportunities to reach them through short videos, biblical teaching, and personal conversations. Digital platforms can connect us with people we might never reach otherwise. And for someone living in a place where openly discussing the Christian faith may be difficult—or even dangerous—a phone screen can provide a private and safe way to search for answers.

The impact of this approach was clearly seen in our recent media outreach in Egypt, which generated more than 44 million views. Over 25,000 people engaged in personal conversations with follow-up teams, and approximately 4,000 prayed to receive Christ. The majority came from a Muslim background.

Yet the significance of this outreach goes far beyond the numbers. Behind every view, every conversation, and every prayer is a person with a story—a life of immeasurable value. Each represents someone given the opportunity to hear the Gospel and take a step toward faith in Jesus.

Media Opens the Door — Personal Connection Follows

Media, however, can never replace personal connection. That is why GCMM’s ministry team in the Middle East continues to visit remote and hard-to-reach areas where the need is great and the opportunities to hear the Gospel are limited. Sometimes a single conversation, a prayer, or a word of encouragement can take root in someone's heart. We may not immediately see the difference it makes, but every encounter has the potential to leave a lasting impact.

Media outreach and personal ministry work hand in hand. A program can spark a question, awaken interest, or open a door. Personal follow-up can then provide what media alone cannot: someone who will listen, pray, answer questions, and walk alongside a person as they take their next steps toward faith.

You Are Part of This Work

Producing a television program takes many hands—from writing and filming to translation, editing, and technical production. Social media requires its own team, while responding to messages takes trained people who are ready to listen, answer questions, and pray. Reaching people in remote areas also requires travel and careful planning.

But there is another essential part of this ministry: the people who pray and give to make it possible. To every friend and supporter, we simply want to say: thank you.

Thank you for every prayer, every word of encouragement, and every gift. Your partnership helps carry the Gospel to people you may never meet, in places you may never go. Together, we are reaching people with the hope of Jesus.

Pray With Us — And Help Us Walk Through Open Doors

We ask you to pray for:

  • more than 1,000 new programs to be completed
  • the financial needs of this ministry
  • strength, wisdom, and health for our team in the Middle East
  • new opportunities to share the Gospel through media
  • the one-on-one ministry being carried out in remote areas
  • and above all, that people would hear the Gospel and find new hope in Jesus

There is a great deal of work ahead of us — but also unprecedented opportunity. We believe God can open doors that we ourselves cannot.

Let's pray together. Let's work together. And let's carry the message of the Gospel forward, together.

Your support can carry the Gospel into a home whose door we could not otherwise open.

Every gift moves the message one step closer to someone who is still waiting to hear it.
