At children’s events held across Egypt, the Gospel is shared through songs, games, teaching, and safe, caring encounters. Together with local ministry partners, GCMM’s Arabic ministry seeks to reach even more children and tell each one: You are precious, loved, and important to God.
There is hardly an empty seat in the room. The music begins, hands go up, and the children eagerly join in. At times there is laughter; at other moments, they listen in complete silence. The joyful program is more than entertainment. It creates a connection through which children can hear about the love of Jesus in a way they can understand.
With great joy and gratitude, GCMM’s Arabic ministry continues its work among children throughout Egypt. At children’s gatherings, events, and other activities, the Gospel is shared simply and lovingly in ways appropriate to their age. Music, play, participation, and teaching work together to create a safe environment where every child can feel seen and heard.
Many children need precisely this kind of place in their lives—a place with trustworthy adults, joy, acceptance, and hope. It can mean so much for a child to hear that they are neither insignificant nor forgotten. They were created by God and are loved by Him.
A Child Is Precious—Today
In ministry among children, a child is not viewed merely as tomorrow’s adult or a future leader. A child is a whole and precious person today.
At the same time, childhood experiences can have a far-reaching impact. A word of encouragement, a prayer, or a story of Jesus’ love planted in a child’s heart may remain with them well into adulthood. What appears to be a small seed today may later grow into faith, hope, and a desire to serve others.
This is why investing in children is also an investment in the future. When a child can grow within a safe and caring community, they gain a stronger foundation for facing life’s difficult seasons. A child is not merely tomorrow’s adult. Each child is precious, worthy of love, and important to God today.
