Mega City Media Campaign in Suriname (2014)
In 2014, a citywide Mega City Media Campaign reached people across Suriname through Sranan Tongo “Power to Change” programming and personal testimonies shared in prime viewing time on five national TV channels. The campaign invited viewers to respond and connect with local believers for follow-up.
During the campaign, the call centre received about 1,300 calls. Many callers were in crisis, and the team responded by offering prayer and support during and after the broadcasts for a period of four weeks.

Church Gatherings and Ongoing Follow-Up
The broadcasts opened doors—but the real impact often took place one conversation at a time. As viewers responded, the call centre became a calm, welcoming place where people could be listened to, ask honest questions, and receive prayer without pressure. Many callers were ready to take an immediate step; others simply needed someone to walk with them at a steady pace.
Local churches were prepared to carry those conversations forward. Pastors and leaders met, prayed, and coordinated follow-up. Seekers were invited to participate in an ongoing community—where faith could be understood, strengthened, and lived out long after the final programme aired.
