Preparations are underway for a Mega City Media Campaign in Moldova, a rare and time-sensitive opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ across the nation.
Moldova is part of GCMM’s Three Continents Vision 2026 — a focused mission initiative marking 50 years since the beginning of Hannu Haukka’s ministry. As GCMM gives thanks for five decades of Gospel outreach, this campaign represents a forward-looking step of faith: helping local believers proclaim Jesus across Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Moldova was part of the Soviet Union until its collapse in 1991. Today, this independent Eastern European country of nearly three million people is facing a sensitive and uncertain moment, with growing political and security pressure in the region.
In this moment, local pastors and ministry leaders are preparing to help their nation hear the hope of Christ clearly and personally.

Strong support from local churches
The Moldova campaign is being developed in partnership with local churches and national leaders who understand the language, culture, history, and spiritual needs of their people. At a recent Moldovan pastors’ conference, led by Valeriu Ghilețchi, a Moldovan pastor, former Deputy Speaker of Moldova’s Parliament, and Christian leader active in European public life, pastors gave strong support to move forward with a nationwide evangelism campaign. This local church support is essential. GCMM campaigns are not only about broadcasting a message. They are built so that people who respond can be connected with prayer, Scripture, discipleship, and caring follow-up.
