UkraineAid has now delivered more than 5,000 fire extinguishers to Ukraine. As Russian air and drone strikes continue to ignite fires, especially at night, the need for firefighting equipment remains urgent. These simple but critical tools help residents and volunteers respond quickly when emergency services cannot arrive in time.
Fire extinguishers delivered to frontline regions
As of this writing, fire extinguishers have been delivered to the Sumy, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions. These areas continue to face ongoing attacks, and existing firefighting equipment is often insufficient or has been destroyed. These new supplies help strengthen the ability to respond quickly when fires break out.
Protecting people under constant attack
In many cases, fire extinguishers are the first and only way to stop a fire when authorities cannot respond immediately. They are essential for safeguarding:
• homes and apartment blocks
• schools, hospitals and shelters
• aid distribution centres and volunteer teams
By providing these vital firefighting tools in areas repeatedly hit by strikes, UkraineAid is helping to prevent widespread destruction and save lives where fires have become a daily reality.
How you can help
In a war of drones and missiles, it is often something small—a single fire extinguisher in the right place at the right moment—that saves lives and keeps a family in their home.
Your support helps place these simple, life-saving tools into schools, shelters, apartments, and aid centres across Ukraine. By giving today, you turn something small into protection, hope, and another life preserved.
